Here is a quick tip that I have found that comes in handy with all the cuts and scraps my boys have gotten. I keep a red washcloth on hand that I use when they get a nosebleed or a bad cut. The red color of the cloth keeps them from freaking out when they are bleeding. Doesn't help me out much, but it works wonders for them.
