I woke up this morning thinking about the different things people like and dislike. Everyone has their funny little quirks that add (or sometimes detract) from their personalities. Some of these can be pretty interesting (or embarrassing) depending on how you look at it. I will be the 1st to admit mine. I have a serious dislike for wooden "popsicle" sticks. I just can't stand the feel of them. In fact, just writing about it brings the sensation back and it is freaking me out just a little. So, summer time in my house used to be funny when my husband would buy boxes of popsicles and my boys would come ask me to open up them. GAAH!! Do I even have to mention going to the doctor? This also spreads to wooden utensils. I was given a really nice wooden spoon and I try to use it, but it makes my skin crawl whenever I do. I literally have to take a deep breath and relax before I use it. My other quirk is, I have to put on my right shoe before my left. It just feels really weird if I don't. I also have this strange thing with certain patterns.....okay enough about me. I have shared enough of my "uniqueness" with you today. You all might start to think I was weird or something. Truth is, everyone has their "thing". I have an aunt that has a daytime toothbrush and a nighttime toothbrush. My husband has a few,but I am forbidden to write about them. And my brother, says he IS a quirk. I often wonder how these little idiosyncrasies develop. Is there something that causes them or is it just something we are born with?

I have so many. The main one is I don't like for anyone to touch me. It feels like an electric shock. When I was younger, I had control of my reactions, but now I freak out. I have a family of touchy feely people and dogs.
